Saeko has kept herself out of the light of the media for quite some time. She hasn’t performed many interviews nor has she been in the social media world – until now. Our lovely actress is now getting into social media and giving Fanza her first interview. Take a look at what she has to say.
IV (Interviewer): Why have you decided to take on an interview?
Saeko: I’ve never gone into social media and I haven’t gone to many events for AV Actresses. But it’s been four years since my debut and I feel like now it’s time to give back to my fans who’ve been watching me for that long. I’ve opened a Twitter account and an Instagram account for people who want to get to know me better and see what my life is like.
IV: You’re running this big social media page all by yourself. Everything you write, and the pictures you take, are all coming from you.
Saeko: Yes, everything is being run by me. It’s difficult to get into this style of living. I’m also learning how to reply to people who send a message to me.
IV: A lot of people who go into the social media life are often consumed by it. And women, who are models or even AV Actresses, take a lot of pictures of themselves to show off to their fans and followers.
Saeko: There was a worry that I didn’t want to be consumed in this Twitter/Instagram world. And there comes the worry of the physical appearance too.
IV: What do you mean?
Saeko: The beautiful image of a woman, is what I mean. Say there’s a woman who knows how beautiful she is. She’ll go on Instagram and take pictures of herself feeling confident that she looks amazing. At times I’d feel not so great about my own personal appearance and that would often keep me away from social media pages like this.
IV: Is there not beauty everywhere in the world though?
Saeko: What is this interview? (laughing) I guess so. This industry has a lot of beautiful women. I’m trying not to follow other AV Actresses so I don’t feel as though I’m not doing, or not as good, as them. I don’t want to taste defeat!
IV: What are your plans for the summer?
Saeko: I’m not exactly sure yet. I would like to keep active but I just need to find something that’s enjoyable. Something that’s fun and engaging for adults.
IV: For adults? So, you’re looking to get yourself into an orgy?
Saeko: (laughing) No, nothing like that! I’m trying to find something that a bunch of adults get up and go to and enjoy themselves.

Saeko: I love getting up and moving around. I’ll even leave the country, go overseas and do something even if it’s by myself.
IV: What, you’d go alone?
Saeko: Yes, I’ve been to many, many countries alone. I’d research where I wanted to go and make sure that I’d plan out things to get the most out of my experience. I’d go see animals, see the desert, ride camels, and other activities.
IV: What’s a memorable place you’ve been?
Saeko: I enjoy going to Europe. I’ve recently heard of there being a lot of pickpocketing going on there. But I’ve never had an incident like that there.

Saeko: Not really. Early on, even now, I really wanted to do more acting in my movies. I always loved to express myself when I was young so they were good for me and that was a great movie.
IV: What’s something that’s taken you by surprise whenever you were filming?
Saeko: I’d have to say bondage! I’d never done it before in private and the views that I had toward being tied up made bondage very exciting for me. I felt this sense of a master-s***e relationship from the moment I was bound.
IV: Do you care about ranking when it comes to AV Actresses and how well movies sell?
Saeko: I take everything into consideration. I read all of the reviews that are posted online on various websites, including Fanza. I remember one movie I made didn’t sell so well but it was very fun for me to film. It does matter to me but I try not to let it rule me too much. I take what information I can get and try to make myself better – and my movies.
