Partially in gratitude for allowing us to publish a bunch of her tweets, we invited Momonogi Kana-chan to meet us in a certain place! A special DMM News AV actress interview report!

We’re going to ask her to look back on her dazzling and rewarding 2016 in her capacity as an AV actress and a Muscats member! Hehe, plus an exclusive first look at Momo-chan’s gluttonous foodie pics! It’s our New Year’s gift to you!! (Even though it was all recorded at the end of the year.)

--Um, at any rate you should eat that Garigari-Kun (popsicle) you're holding in you right hand (lol).

Momonogi: What? What? (Screaming unintelligibly) Waa! It's great!

Momonogi: Waa! I'm really excited! Can I start cooking it? Actually, I'm not good at cooking BBQ though (lol).

--It's okay, if it were the fans, they'd think, "She's probably not that good anyways..."

Let’s look back on Momonogi's 2016! First off, Muscats!

--With that, I'd like to take a look back at your 2016!
Momonogi: It was a year full of a lot of stuff...(with a distant stare). Things really started to take off with the Muscats, and if I think about it now, it was all really beneficial.

--I totally agree. Before your AV debut, you entered this industry because you looked up to the first generation of the Muscats (especially as a Kishi Aino-chan fan).
Momonogi: But, watching and being in it are so different. That's obvious of course (lol). Even when watching a show and being like "she's so cute, and that looks so fun", when it comes down to it and you’re on the show yourself, you think, "I can't just laugh, I need to react well and entertain everyone that’s watching." It's really hard to make it fun for the people watching, right?! Just that can be overwhelming (awkward laugh). So when I got on, it really drove home for me just how amazing my superiors are! They’re so good at giving great reactions!

--Well, you’re doing a pretty good job yourself! Like, if I can bring up a minor detail... I feel like they show your reactions in a lot of the segments!
Momonogi: That’s actually a lot of pressure, because I can’t just laugh, I have to react well to what’s happening (lol).

--Th, there's that much to think about huh. I'm surprised that you know so well!
Tell us the backstory of that scene!!
--Moreover, the most memorable part of Muscats was...the broadcast from home!
Momonogi: Waa! Yes, that's right! That's right! I really didn't hear about that beforehand! Well, I'd heard about the plan (for that segment), but before it I thought, "Of course since it's TV they will ask whether the request is okay or not beforehand." I'd even told my manager, "Please tell them I don't want to." I really thought I was safe, so I was totally caught off guard!! Grrrr!!!!!

--HAHAHA. It was really like that huh!!
Momonogi: Mentally, I was totally unprepared for it, so those tears, they were real. "Why me!", I thought. (Looking at her manager) Why!!!!

Manager: (Continues to BBQ the meat with a clueless expression)

Momonogi: My Manager kept asking me from the day before we went on location if my room was clean, I just thought my Manager was being nice! (chowing down on BBQ.)

--Meanwhile, all the plans were being put into place behind the scenes (lol).
Momonogi: That's right. I knew that show has some scary absurd things they do.

--Absurd things like the "sexy camel" segment.
Momonogi: HAHAHA! So many people were like, "her eyes rolled back!" But, I felt like I was properly making a lusty expression like I was supposed to! Really I was!

--But when the camera zeroed in you had a stunning white-eyed lusty expression on your face, huh!
Momonogi: While crying my manager said, "You really did it well!" (lol) Although I meant to just make a normal erotic expression!!! Ahh!!! (While eating a mouthful of BBQ)

--Hahaha! Clearly you got it!!
Momonogi: Also on Asaka Kirara's "Tamero Oni Gokko" segment!!!

--That was also super fun!!!
Momonogi: Wai, Wait a minute, everyone said, "That funny face!", but I just did it with like a normal go-for-it expression!!

--That's a lie!
Momonogi: Really!! But when I saw it on air I had a funny face. Ahh! Why! (lol) More Korean kalbi pork please!

Still "Nervous and frightened" when singing in front of others?

--Then you went on an all-Japan tour!
Momonogi: Yes! This was another great experience for me...Even though looking back on it now it was super busy and tough. Wherever I went so many people supported me...(grinning)

--Yeah, and in your triumphant return to Tokyo you sold out at Liquid Room in Ebisu! It was super packed with fans, huh.
Momonogi: It was really scary! While waiting on standby I was crushed with nerves and thought, "I wonder if I'm going to be okay..."No matter what, you get nervous singing in front of hordes of people.

--Didn't you sing an enthusiastic solo of LADY MADONNA?
Momonogi: A bunch of people also heard that...but that time really was scary. Like, "I wonder if I can do this right...?" Really it was the fans cheering for me that gave me support...

--No, no, it really was magnificent singing.
Momonogi: Thank you very much (with a grateful expression on her face, and a mouthful of BBQ). For a long time I've really liked singing and always yearned to sing on stage...but actually doing it...there's a lot of pressure to perform as expected...

--Naw, we were all sure you were backstage eating donuts and feeling big time!!
Momonogi: Nope, that was after I finished singing (lol)! After I was freed from my nervousness.

--Munching away.
Momonigi: Yup, exactly! (blushing) But I was happy since I really yearned to sing on that stage for a long time! With the Muscats, I also got to sing the solo bridge for “Bibiru Body De Boo”. And when I sang that, everyone else... people with amazing careers danced choreography to really support me... I felt so unworthy! Doing that all for me!

--It was okay, really okay I said!
Momonogi: Can I have some rice please?

My hero and eternal goal is “Kishi Aino-san!”

--So with the Ebisu Muscats. Even in interviews you gave during your debut, you said you wanted to enter the industry because you “really look up to Kishi Aino from the Muscats.”
Momonogi: That's right...I’m so lucky that I get to be in the Muscats... so out of all my releases this year, “Scandal” – a recent one – really left an impression. Aino-san did the first one in the series, so I was really happy to have the opportunity to be in it.

--That's a really popular series isn't it! Just watching it makes my heart pound, I love it!
Momonogi: My heart also started pounding as a viewer (lol).

--So you realized the weight of it when you stood on that same stage. By the way, when did you let the real you slip out the most?
Momonogi: Hehe. (with a half-concealed smile) Maybe the scene in the car...If there was a guy I was really into I think I'd be like that. Hehe (shy).

--Why are you half-hiding your expression like that!? I’m impressed now!!
Playing a magnificent starring role in the first release in a series in 2016!
--So! You were also in the first release in a series, right? The “Live Sex Chat”!
Momonogi: That's right. It’s really difficult to take on a production with no previous releases. I think that it was the same for Kishi-san... and I’m so in awe that she’s still able to get all her viewers so spellbound. There was nothing for her to reference! It was the same for me with “Live Sex Chat”, I started from zero and mostly adlibbed through the scenes.

--Adlibbed? You didn't look at the chat comments while doing it?
Momonogi: No, I didn't! (in a loud voice) - I met with the director before, but once it starts I’m completely left to my own devices. Like, maybe if I wait this amount of time, I’ll get some more encouraging comments. When I saw it, I wondered what becomes of the girls who live sex chat like this...I thought about that, pondered it, then I did my best!

--I’m really impressed! But for you to work on your instincts, that must be because of your experience being on Niconico Live Broadcasting's streaming videos, huh.
Momonogi: It might. I've been blessed with many kinds of opportunities, so I think they've really helped.

--When I watch it again, it might be fun to watch you not reading the captions and going through trial and error instead.
Momonogi: Noo, it's embarrassing! But from beginning to end it's trial and error (with a forced smile). Only when I got laid with the final male actor did I feel this weird give and take like, "I'm being watched, what should I do?" and I felt this real excitement (lol).

--Then, at present "Live Sex Chat" is also continuing to be released as a series. You were in the first version, so I think that everyone is basing themselves on your work and trying their best to make one better!
Momonogi: Whaaa! If that's the case then it's really a privilege and great!

The reason behind the hardcore release of DIGITAL CHANNEL at year-end.

Momonogi: Additionally, I have one more thing I really want to talk about!

--What is it? Is it Ramen Jiro? (A famous ramen chain)
Momonogi: I could talk about that until morning, but no. "DIGITAL CHANNEL", the production that I just appeared in. It seems that even the people involved in it are talking about it...

--What is? What in the hell are you talking about!?
Momonogi: My producer told me, "If there is something you want to do, tell me beforehand", so "well!" I thought, face-fucking and cumming while being tied up... I could say more...(self edited).

Momonogi: I’d always wanted to try it. Because I thought, "If I had this kind of chance to try something new, I'd do that kind of thing", so I brought it up. But after doing so the producer was the one who actually had second thoughts (lol).

Momonogi: That's right, you get interested in the things you haven't done yet. The cover does say, “The hardest content in this series”, and I am really pleased with it.... I think I can go even more hardcore?
